Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo | Alexandria

Arrival in Cairo where you will be met by our representative for assistance through customs and immigration formalities then transferred to Alexandria. Upon arrival we check in at the hotel, have dinner and enjoy a good night's sleep in preparation for the big day tomorrow.

Day 2: Alexandria

Following the early breakfast, we start by visiting the Old Harbor, Catacombs, and Roman Museum, followed by a lovely lunch. Later on in the day, you can tour the city as you please, till dinner time and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Alexandria | Marsa Matruh

After breakfast, we hit the road towards Alamein (60km), and visit the WWII Museum and the War Memorial. Moving on, we reach Marsa Matruh and check-in the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Marsa Matruh

Spend a free day at leisure, and enjoy the marvelous beach of Marsa Matruh. (HB)

Day 5: Marsa Matruh | Siwa

After breakfast we start our way towards Siwa Oasis, upon arrival we tour the city, have lunch and later we head off-road (17 km) to the Great Sand Sea, to enjoy the magnificent Sand Dunes, savor a traditional dinner and relax while gazing at the starry desert night sky. Overnight at the camp site.

Day 6: Siwa

After breakfast, we head back to Siwa and Cleopatra’s Spring, Mountain of the Dead, Alexander the Great Temple also known as the Temple of the Oracle; enjoy a lovely lunch in a local restaurant, later we check in our hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel and overnight.

Day 7: Siwa | Cairo

After breakfast, we head back to Cairo. Lunch will be served on the way. Upon arrival we check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Cairo hotel. 

Day 8: Cairo

After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo Airport, and our representative will provide the necessary assistance for final departure.                     

I- Transportation:

  • 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser will be used during the desert days  
  • A/C forward seats and A/C coaches for airport transfers and sightseeing.  
  • Every 4WD vehicles will be equipped with:
    • Powerful Diesel engines
    • Long-range gas tanks

    • Refreshing wet tissues

  • The car in the forefront will be equipped with:

II- Tented camp will include:

  • Spacious, well ventilated dome tents including Mattresses, blankets, sleeping bags and bed sheets
  • All necessary cooking gear, kitchen utensils, mugs and glassware

  • Cool boxes
  • Trash bags
  • Ice boxes
  • Fire grill and cooking stoves

III- Accommodation

Hotels used are clean, with hot water bathrooms (the best in the oases), and 5 stars hotels in Cairo.

IV- Food and Beverage

  • Picnic lunches during desert days (as per program)
  • F/B lunches included  
  • On board of the 4WD every pax will have three bottles of mineral water at disposal per day (during desert days)
  • 1 Soft drink per day (during desert days)
  • Sweet & salty snacks (during desert days)

V- Visits and Excursions

  • All entrance fees and permissions for all visits

Children Policy:

  • Infants from 0 – 3.99 years of age are not allowed on a 4WD safari trip
  • Minimum child age: 4 years
  • 50% discount for children of 11-18 years of age

 Cancellation Policy:                   

  • In case of cancellation one week prior to the booked trip date, 50% of total amount will be charged.
  • In case of cancellation within one week, 75% of total amount will be charged.
  • In case of cancellation one day before the scheduled trip or No-Show, 100% cancellation fees apply.                  

Restrictions:

  • Collection of any stones, formations or relics from the desert (the rest of general information attached).
